What are the hours of paid parking? How much will it cost?Parking hourse are 7 days a week from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. For rates, please see the Pay Parking page.

What is this new parking management system?The City of Idaho Springs has partnered with Park Idaho Springs to provide a new, more efficient system to make parking easier, more readily available and faster than before. Residents and employees will continue to receive free parking via their registered license plate. Visitors will park, then pay via our solar-powered, (paperless) payment kiosks or on the Park Idaho Springs Mobile App on their smartphone.

How long can I park for?You can make payment all day up until 6 p.m.; however, should your car be parked after 12 a.m. from the previous day, you will receive a violation.

How do I use it?Once you park, you will use one of the Idaho Springs solar-powered kiosks located throughout the City core. Enter your license plate number and your credit card into the slot (just like the gas station) then follow the prompts on the screen. Alternatively, you can pay with the Park Idaho Springs Mobile App. Click one of the following links to download: App Store or Google Play - You'll then create a free account in only minutes, enter the zone number that can be found on the signage where you park then follow the prompts.

If I get a violation, how much does it cost?Violations are $50. Unpaid violations double to $100 after 14 days. You may pay online on the Violations page.

I shouldn’t have gotten this ticket! What do I do?You can file an appeal to dispute your ticket on the Violations page.

What if my appeal is denied?You can appeal in civil court through the city of Idaho Springs. There is a court fee of $30.

As a resident or employee do I need to pay for a permit?Residents and employees do not need to pay for a permit by simply providing proof of residency and/or employment.

How many cars can I register?Residents: Any number of cars as long as all cars being registered are registered to member(s) of the household. Employees can register as many cars needed. Employees can only have one car in the lot at the same time.

Are ADA parking spots paid?ADA parking spots are free.

Is Miner Street paid parking?Miner Street is paid parking for EVERYONE between the hours of 10 a.m. - 6 p.m where it is not blocked for pedestrian traffic.

Can Clear Creek County Residents park in Idaho Springs for free?Clear Creek county Residents can register online to park for free in paid parking lots.

How many free spots are there for residents?There are over 300 FREE spots for residents to park in within the paid parking boundaries.

What if I have a short term rental? Where do the guest park the cars?All guests of a short term rental have off street parking only.
